Annual Toastmasters Picnic 2011. Data changed!
Fellow Toastmasters,
Please be informed that the Annual Toastmasters Picnic 2011 is postponed because of the rainy weather which is expected also on the next weekend.
The new date of the event is Saturday, July 9, 12:30 – 17:00, Pyrogovo Open Air Museum.
You can register for the Picnic by e-mailing us and order your advance ticket for UAH 40.
A ticket at the door will cost 60 UAH. Please also note that everybody will have to pay the entrance fee to the Pyrogovo museum for UAH 20 (adults). If there are any changes regarding the entrance fee, we’ll let you know.

Annual Toastmasters Picnic 2011
Dear Toastmasters,
It is our pleasure to invite you, your friends, spouses and children to the Annual Summer Toastmasters Picnic which will take place in Pirogovo Open Air Museum from 12:00 till 17:00 on 3 July 2011.
Our 5 hour agenda will consist of the following parts:

Moreover together we will spent fun time in the fresh air, meet old and new friends and simply relax and have rest from day to day routine.

SUMMER-WINTER CARNIVAL!!!
Dear friends,
On this “snowy-suppose-to-be” day We are happy to announce that the summer will start in 4 days! Why? It has nothing to do with global warming, because our Summer Winter Carnival is coming soon.
Here is a quick update about our activities at the party:
- Team-building workshop “The best summer story”
- Latino dances master-class with excellent teachers and a special guest from Cuba
- We’ll have a photo session in a special “summer island”
- A slide-show with the best summer pictures of you and your Toastmasters friends
- Don’t forget to dress in the bright summer clothes as the Best Summer Costume will receive a present!

Inner Speech Contest Results at Chamber of Commerce TC
On January 12th, 2011 many Ukrainian toastmasters and their friends had a chance to enjoy an exciting and intriguing event – Annual Speech Contest at the Chamber Toastmasters Club.
In an extremely tough but totally friendly competition seven Chamber speakers presented their speeches to the most grateful audience. Three winners, defined by the unbiased judging commission, are
1. Evgeniya Poluektova (The True Origin of Feminism \ The Untold Story of Female Oppression in the Undercover)
2. Ilona Postemska (Hands up!)
3. Gleb Krivenko (Skeleton in the Wardrobe)
Evgeniya Poluektova also won the People’s Choice Award thus letting two participants of the “Guess the Winner” raffle receive a New Year “ToastMaster Set” and Buy*ology, a Bestseller by Martin Lindstrom.

SUMMER-WINTER CARNIVAL!!!
Traditionally winter is a beautiful holiday season, time for mystery and unexpectedly pleasant surprises. Toastmasters Ukraine also decided to add a little bit of wonder to our annual Winter Carnival and create a sunny summer atmosphere right in the mid of winter!
Please be kindly invited to SUMMER-WINTER CARNIVAL 2011 which will take place on 22 JANUARY in HudGraf Gallery Caf?.
Together we will play summer games, listen to live guitar music and songs, make fun photos with various summer attributes, go into Latin dances with a fabulous teacher and do many other things.
All event long we will have a multimedia projector showing the brightest photos from Toastmasters meetings and events at the wall. To support summer concept of the Carnival we highly encourage you to send your personal summer photos to Toastmastersukraine@gmail.com by 20 JANUARY and they will definitely be added to the slideshow. Each person who sends such photos will get a special prize at the door!

Inner Speech Contest at EBA
Last Thursday EBA TC had a marvellous Inner Speech Contest! The participants took a challenge to perform the best speeches for the contest. Let’s welcome them: Olga Pustyntseva (Title of a speech: Wheel of Fortune), Svetlana Nesterenko (Title: How to become a human detector), Igor Buinyi (Title:Excitement), Svitlana Stavska (Title: Be aware of your dreams), Valentin Seleznev (Title: Looking for the happiness…). All speakers spent hours, days, weeks or even months of preparation for their performances! Of course, the preparation had to be very serious, because the Judges were very prominent Toastmasters!
